Things were different back in 1993.
Then, the term ‘Wi-Fi’ was still years away, and no one had ever heard of “the cloud.” Yet, that was the year our story began, over in the sleepy suburban town of Langhorne, PA. Located almost smack dab between Trenton and Philadelphia, it’s not exactly as well known as some of the cities surrounding it. Indeed, very few people in the world would ever consider it a hub for technology or innovation. However, here, in our hometown, we first discovered our love of all things connected, integrated, and online.
This love eventually grew into an obsession. We realized that so few people were finding themselves inspired by telecommunications, let alone talking about it. That’s what led us to start Network Connections. We saw a need for this type of focused thinking, and it just so happened to sit at the cross-section of our interests and passions. Right from the start, we started with a clear idea: provide customers with specific and quality telecommunications services at honest and affordable prices. At the time, this was considered a pretty radical notion. Telecom companies were beginning to buy one another out and merge to form massive corporations that often put customer satisfaction and honesty as secondary concerns.
Dedication to Our Customers
A company that values its customers and treats them with respect? Go figure. But that’s what we set out to do! Even as Network Connections has grown over time, we’ve remained committed to this goal. In all honesty, we just don’t know any other way. We want to treat our customers like members of our family. We’ve all been dealt a rough hand from time to time in poor customer service. So we don’t see the need to add to the pile. Sure, it may not be the easiest of paths, but we can’t see ourselves doing anything differently. After all, it’s helped us become industry leaders, sought-after experts, and partners for many.
Perhaps that’s the characteristic that sets us apart above all else: our dedication to our customers, who we truly embrace as partners. While others might use that term as a “buzzword” to make themselves appear more engaging, we take the idea of partnerships seriously. We also understand that an effective one begins and ends with communication. That’s why we speak concisely, explain compactly, and inform honestly. It’s not some gimmick we paste across t-shirts, hats, and beer cozies. No. It’s a notion that’s become ingrained in every aspect of our work. We always listen to the people we work with because we believe it’s the only way to do the job right and deliver exactly what our partners need. If you aren’t listening, you don’t understand. And if you do not understand, chances are you’re not solving the right problem.
