TECHNOLOGY JOBS
From the beginning, we have been a company that provides clients with voice and data connectivity. Though we have grown since then, structured cabling remains an integral part of our business, we have evolved into a full-blown technology solutions providing company. As a result, we are always looking for passionate, dedicated employees with telecommunication and IoT experience.
Our technology jobs may be right for you if you have experience in low voltage structured cabling, AV, IoT, or networking infrastructure. NCI’s field technicians typically install and service voice and data communication systems, networked technology solutions that include distributed audio/video, surveillance cameras, door access systems, and much more. In addition, customer satisfaction is a top priority for Network Connections, so the ability to listen and understand client needs is also highly valued.
WHY NETWORK CONNECTIONS?
I love being surrounded by colleagues that have the motivation to grow, accept the challenge to change, and have the inspiration to succeed
Mike PilotManager, Systems Support Team
I like working at NCI because I feel like it’s more than just a job. I’m a part of something bigger; NCI is a force that is truly trying to make a difference in how people live their lives.
Miranda RevakOperations Support Specialist
I like working at NCI for many reasons, but I will try to keep this short. I love to watch a business change, grow, and expand and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment knowing that I get to be part of that. We maintain a professional atmosphere and can get the job done without being overly ‘stuffy or corporate’. I will always return to the fact that our Executive team isn’t afraid to get dirty and work side by side in the field with our technicians when needed.
Jason HarveyManager, Customer Relations Team
I like working at NCI, because the company has empathy. They understand, and serve, the needs of their customers and staff, very well. With that principle at the forefront, it paves the way for personal and professional growth, for everyone.
Russell DownManager, Network Support Team
I like working at NCI because of the autonomy, growth opportunities, strong core values, interesting work, recognition, and highly satisfied customers. In addition, I am proud that NCI is a veteran owned establishment with a leader who exemplifies vision, direction, and support.
Jen RispoDirector, Process Administration
Coming from a very “stiff” corporate background, I find that there are fewer barriers within NCI. I like to describe NCI as a work hard, play hard company. There are so many benefits that are there for the staff, from parties to sports games. Being over the road, I have a chance to check out places I never would have been stuck in a cubicle. I’m able to take my laptop with me if I need to run an errand or pick up my son at school, and work remotely from the parking lot as I wait. Having an active leader is great. You know where you stand, and there are no shadow games. It’s great having open lines of communication to those in leadership, and it’s even better that they give feedback , positive or negative. I guess it’s easiest to describe it as the business that is set to support itself and its employees instead of knocking them down.
Joe McMichaelSenior Manager, Field Services Team
“It’s not just a job; NCI is family to me. You’re never doing the same work every day; every day is something different and in a different area.”
MICHAEL BOLLINGERMANAGER, FIELD SERVICES TEAM
“It’s challenging, fun, difficult, and you have flexibility when needed. The people... treat everyone as an important part of the company regardless of your position.”
FINFIFTEEN KHOUNSADYSUPERVISOR, NETWORK SUPPORT TEAM
“I thoroughly enjoy working for NCI, because it’s a company that values its employees just as much as its clients. I also love that I have the freedom to complete my job without being micro-managed, and having the flexibility of balancing my work life with my home life.”
MICHELLE BYERSSENIOR MANAGER, PROJECTS & INITIATIVES TEAM
“NCI actually cares about its employees and its customers. It’s such a good feeling to feel appreciated! I’m so grateful to be a part of this team; it’s been such a positive experience in more ways than one.”
ANDREA BULLARDSUPERVISOR, OPERATIONS SUPPORT TEAM
“NCI cares. That’s what I love about this company. We care about our customers, we go above and beyond to make them happy. They care about their employees, and constantly strive to show it. NCI cares. It may sound cliché, but working for a company that cares about the world around them, and, not just the bottom line is what makes this a great company to work for.”
